Day 1 : Ouarzazate / N’kob / Hannedour
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Ouarzazate and driven
to N’kob via Agdz.You will be met here by your support team to begin a two
hours walk to Hanndour.Picnic lunch en route.
The night will be spent under tent at Hannedour village.
Day 2 : Hannedour / Berkik / Tajalacht
After breakfast in camp,you will meet up with your team of muleteers
and head north up the fertile Hanndour valley to Berkik and Tajalacht.
Overnight under tent.
Day 3 : Tajalacht / Irhissi
Today, set off north to the village of Irhissi through a pass at 2000m.
Overnight camp at Irhissi.
Day 4 : Irhissi / Berkou / Tafraout N’Oumlal
After breakfast,begin a day trek to Berkou.There is an optional ascent of the Djebel
Amlal (2712 m).
Overnight camp at Tafraout N’Oumlal.
Day 5 : Tafraout N’Oumlal / Tizi N’Taggourt
This morning we trek to the Tizi N’Taggourt,a high plateau with spectacular eroded
rocks.
Tented accommodation at Tizi N’Taggourt.
Day 6 : Tizi N’Taggourt / Bab N’Ali
Today you walk through the great rock gates and the southern edge of the Tizi N’Taggourt.
Then cross a plateau where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of much of the
range,before heading down south to Bab N’Ali towers in the edge of the Sahara desert.
Overnight campsite near Bab N’Ali towers.
Day 7 : Bab N’Ali / Imi N’Waqqa / Ouarzazate
After breakfast,you trek to Mtassit and Taougdicht valley.
You will meet up with your transport at the village Imi N’Waqqa for your drive back
to Ouarzazate via N’kob.
